My wife and daughter and me (somewhat) listen to todays country, but I hate it. All todays "stars" are cookie cutter clones of each other with no distinct sound. Each girl singer is a "hottie" and the guys are all buff. Other than that you can't tell one song from another. Its amazing how the industry shuns those with a traditional sound like Scotty McCreary. I listen to classic country, the older the better. My wife and I just went Monday to a David Ball concert given in our small local theater. It was very good and I feel he is under rated. We had front row seats and met him after. Now that King George is retired country can move forward to puke out all the rap blends it wants with no anchor to its real sound.
