I got a call from a friend of mine Wednesday morning letting me know that another friend of ours had been in a serious wreck shortly before. He was supposed to be driving a truck, and dump trailer, for the friend that called, and was on his way to pick up the rig when he got hit. The sad thing is he was actually turning in on the road where the truck lot was when it all happened, so he was less than a block from his destination.
I don't know any real details of the incident beyond it happened right at sunup and his Toyota Corolla got t-boned, on the right side, by an F150 running at least 55 MPH.
Injury wise, what I got was that he was airlifted with serious injuries (ie crushing ) to his right side and a brain hemorrhage. As of the last call I received, he was still unconscious and they were doing their best to control the hemorrhage before they even started with any of the other injuries.
All in all Terry needs all the prayers he can get right now. He's a good Christian man who still has his grown children here to come back to, but at the same time, had a wife that passed away a few years ago that I think he would gladly join also. Lets all pray that the Good Lord finds it in his mercy to do whatever is best for him.
