I worked for a while for a roofer and we got bonus pay for laying down more roofing then expected. It was a good way to make some good money and still be home with the family in the evening. I doubt if many self employed farmers take any breaks during harvest or haying season. It is usually go, go, go until the job is done or we run out of day light.
