Looked into interlock for son's outdoor breaker box just below the meter. Cost was suprisingly high for a piece of aluminum with a few notches cut in strategic places,and a few mounting screws. Further examination shoewed box had room, but internal structure would not allow for additional breakers to connect to buss. Still haven't come up with a solution other than a "bubba" hook up..... Not happy. New box is gonna be expensive as well. Plus having to wire and install. Electrician didn't allow any slack in his wires for different install.
