Tuesday I had the kidney stone attack. Went to the ER and got pain meds to go back home. Of course no combine operation while on the narcotics.
Wednesday called the specialist and got an appointment for Thursday. After his exam and my pushing to get it done so I could resume combining he decided to go in with a scope and break up the pea sized stone and any other stones he could find on Friday. I was back home at 5 yesterday with 3 less stones.
Other than the stint being a little uncomfortable I am ready to jump back in the seat today and run.
The first order of business will be to show the son in laws how to operate the combine in case this ever happens again.
The son in laws have all been so busy at work they don't have much time to run either. The one that does farm has to get is own done as well. He called and said he had a couple of hours on Thursday to run the combine. I told him to stick with his then come help me if I still needed it.
Two of the son in laws have time to help haul today so hopefully we can get in a good day.
