No it's never worked since I bought it. It is a gear type pump. I bought it online I forget where now but it said it was for that application.It has the origional wagner control valves. I'll take some pictures and post tomorrow. When I pull back on the bucket control I can tell it puts more of a load on the motor and the line for that will jump. But other than that nothing.
