Naw, seriously I hope it is a cheap fix, but you're right hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Wuldn't it have been wonderful if Dear old IH had made them TA's easy to get to and fix instead of enclosing them in them big old housings that comprise the "backbone" of the tractor? Made it where you could just unhook the drive and a few control rods then drop it down and out like an old lift-all pump, rebuild it and shove it back in in about an easy day right at home in your own shop.....Yeah, dream on, Leon....
