20 years ago I would use it on my demolition derby car radiators, didn't clean anything. The stuff worked great. I've tried it on and off over the past 10 years on things, sometimes it works sometimes not. And now even clean things up. I've tried the JB original & JB quick. I maybe thought the JB I had on hand was old or sitting on the parts store shelf to long but it doesn't seem to be the same old JB weld.
