I had several gas generators over the years and it was a pain to refuel them in the dark and dangerous. In 2012 we decided to buy a Kohler standby generator. It will run on LP or NG. We have NG. The generator is programmed to start once a week for 20 minutes. The NG fuel line is Wardflex. When that storm Sandy hit the east coast in Oct 2012 we lost power for 26 hours.
