I wouldn't use an additive. The issue is water getting in. Since you just bought it, it could be from many things, sitting too long (condensation will add moisture to the oil) or it sat in the rain and rainwater got in, bad head gasket, cracked head or block. I would simply change the oil and keep an eye on the oil and engine performance and based on what you see later, determine if investigation is required.
