Take a look at the drive shafts in the hinge area of the tractor. Are the drive shafts intact? Is the input shaft to the rear transmission turning? if not check the splines on the shafts, splines may be worn and sheared off. if every thing is intact there, I would start working my way back to the engine. if all is working as it should in the hinge area, I would move in in to the transmission case and go from there. let us know what you found out.
