It was an Oak . We had pretty bad storms this summer. tornado path close by and bad winds , took down a bunch of trees . This one lost a big branch and with houses close they decided to take it down before it hit something . It did have a rotted area in the middle of it . HAd to 1/4 the rounds before my little skidloader could even lift them . no shortage of firewood this year .
