They're not lady bugs, they're Japanese (asian) beetles. We get hit with them when the farmers start harvesting beans. One year we had 2 shop vacs going and pulled in over 1000 of the damn things. We put em out in the driveway,poured gas on em, set em on fire. Stunk like he11,but they won't be back to bother us. At least that batch. According to the scuttlebut, our local DNR had them brought in to fight aphids, all they do is drive us nuts.Drop off the ceiling onto the dinner table,not to mention,bite you and leave welts, I'm sure I don't look like an aphid.lol Be patient, snow will fly and they will disappear,until next year. Please keep them down there, as we have had our share up here and are finally being controlled by the cold winter. LOU
