Wow, You Guys are Good! I took the side plate off as suggested and found the rack will only move about 1/8 inch. The plungers seem to work fine. Thank you so much. Now if you can give me some more advice about freeing the rack, I will be even more grateful. I've never done this before, so I am unsure about the amount of pressure to apply to the rack? Also, is it feasible to dismantle the features on the LEFT which seem to hold the left end of the rack rod? Again, thanks for all of your help to get me to this point and for any additional advice you may wish to offer.
