Was hoping you would post on with those stats , B/D! If anyone wants to bash JD 2cyl they had better come up with a more valid reason than fuel economy. And unlike JD from new gen on up , the JD 2 cyl tractors were actually cheaper to buy than other brands , apples to apples . I once asked my Dad why my Grandpa , who would climb over the gate to make the hinges last longer , bought a NEw JD B in 1939 ? he said because it was the cheapest row crop tractor in that HP range. They actually came standard with a swinging drawbar. Optional on most others. But whatever, averyone has their opinion.
