I imagine what you purchased is actually a Model 48D which had the Hercules engine. You will find the tractor serial # stamped at the bottom edge of the dash below the steering wheel. The only info in print I have ever seen is an owners manual. I think they are still available from King's Books in the $4-$6 range. I had 2, they are good little machines.
