My 97 year old Dad in north central Illinois, who just passed away last July, had one of the early Uni-Farmer Systems without Power Steering. He had the Combine that he used mostly with pickup head for windrowed oats until he started raising soybeans then went to direct cut. Also had the Picker and Picker-Sheller. However he was a frugal man and to save money, he switched the corn head from picker to sheller as needed, was an all day job to make the switch. Also for a couple years he had the Uni-Windrower for it as well. Then traded all for an IH 403 with Grainhead and 4 Row Cornhead. Again before Quicktach heads and the switch would also take nearly a day from one to the other. John in AZ
