I went on a parts run this morning. I had about a 125 mile loop to make to pickup some small items. I decided to use my preferred method of travel, my Honda Goldwing. It was my fault but I got looking at a field of soybeans trying to figure if they were about ready and lost track of my speed. I explained to the Saginaw County Sheriff that I have not had a ticket in over forty years for a moving violation and I sure was sorry. I explain that I was a retired truck diver, part time school bus driver and that I have been in every state but one on my motorcycle without a moving violating. I thanked him for telling me to have a good day and to watch my speed.
