Got a bum knee, so getting up and down a ladder is tough. Put up brackets yesterday under the soffit for a patio awning. Involved drilling 1/4" holes up through the truss, 3 1/2 inches, then installing the brackets with 4" lag bolts (them are long critters, after the first couple). Could have knocked that job out in half an hour a few years ago, took me 3 times that long yesterday.
Like I told Mrs. (WA), it sure is irritating to take so long to get anything done anymore, but I guess we just got to keep plugging along.
