In the past 5 years 20 dealers around me went Into a single big setup.
Sort of culminated this spring as all the partnerships got set into one head.
Change is difficult, so I try not to put too much into a rumble of discontent....
However, there are farmers that set up a weekly parts run 60 miles south to get to a dealer out of this network, and bring a load of parts up and distribute them out of a central parking lot.....
That doesn't sound like things are working out?
The red dealer here is pretty good, a 3 location dealer, and I suspect will be doing good business this coming spring....
The JD conglomerate I hear disgruntled employees, closed locations, and a preposed new location to replace 3 existing is on, off, on, off again. No one knows if they will have a local green dealership or not.
