One of the car mags did an experiment with NOX in a plain old car, I think a Dodge or Plymouth with a 318 if I'm right. They ran the 1/4 mile, increasing the dosage with every run. At a certain point they had to put a high performance ignition in it to keep the spark from blowing out. The old 318 lasted longer than they expected before it melted down. I forget what the performance gain was though. From what I understand nitrous needs a certain amount of compression and fire to get the oxygen out of it. Jim
