We have a rifle with an old Charles Daly scope on it, made in Japan. We can't get it to move left to sight it in accurately. So we put a Tasco on it,works good now.
For the question has any one here ever taken a scope completely apart. We looked online for a diagram for the Charles Daly scope,but haven't found it, we want to take it apart and see if it can be cleaned or adjusted to where the reticle will move freely. We really don't want to take it in to a gunsmith for repair,as it is a cheap scope and the cost to repair it thru a gunsmith would be cost prohibitive,plus we like to fix it ourselves. Any helpful info would be appreciated. LOU
