I was told by a trucker that they want the boomers or binders on the right side. then if you have to adjust them you are away from traffic. and the boomers now must be the ratchet style. boy I hate them things, not like grabbing a snip and tightening them good, fast and simple. now have to make sure threads are clean and lubed. and the damm chain wants to turn while tightening them. too many dummies getting hurt with the lever type so now safety first with these goofy ones.
