I've never noticed bees/wasps around here being aggressive unless you are threatening or disturbing their nest. Its cool to co-exist and as you mentioned co-work with them, to some they are obscure, but it would seem we could have some serious problems without them.
Fall raspberries, blossom now, so I assume you'll get berries at some point soon this season ? The blackberries this year, that I could find wild, were so good, I had a couple of stragglers near my old dozers, they sure grow good blackberries, that old iron LOL !
