Oooh,that's not good. It there a loud whining sound that sounds like a hydraulic valve is stuck? If no whine,are you loosing hydraulic fluid? If that's the case,it might be the front seal of the pump dumping oil in to the rear end,causing it to be over full and the pump drive gear is slinging it up there. Mine had a bad noise with the slinging one time followed by smoke. That time,the cotter pin came out of the pump drive gear and the shaft slid out.
