I still have some ear corn left in my crib from when I filled it two years ago. Grew ear corn this year, still a few weeks away from starting to pick. Think it's OK to add the new corn on top of the stuff that's 2 years old? Haven't ground corn since February, so there's some bad ears that I will need to shovel out from the front half of the slab, and clean the kernels from under the ventilator. After that, should I pull down the old ears to level it before filling, or leave the old stuff on one side opposite the door, like it is (door opening is on North side of bin.) I found more wire ventilator tubes that I can tie in across the new corn. When I filled it in 2012, 4 acres filled it up into the cone. 5 acres this year, so will probably have a few wagons that won't fit.
