I used a 10hp Craftsman Tecumseh on my splitter back about 1975. No problems with the engine it came off a Sears tractor. Hal PS: That's a Mercury Bobcat in the picture I bought used for my wife. It had the V6 engine and it would make the tires screech and she didn't like it. I sold it to a teenager and he liked it.
