Colder summer here in northern NY but it looks like a bumper corn crop. Had a light frost last week that did not bother the corn much [corn was already turning because of age] but the soybeans took a hit. They are still green but drooping.
Made a lot of dry hay between rain showers and the hay looks good. Put some round bales of second cutting in the shed and they were made without getting wet.
Just plowed about 10 acres and was surprised at how dry the ground really is. As mentioned by others Murphy will be awaking soon and then watch out. GOOD LUCK TO ALL of you farmers and farmers at heart.
