Well I am no expert but have 28 years Kubota experience. Lets start by saying WHY it will not start when you jump the starter is you have no power to the fuel control solenoid. Now why you do not have power is like some have said probably an open safety switch. My first suggestion is get in the seat. Take your hand and move the key to the crank/start position now hold it there and take your other hand and go to moving ever lever you can reach, pto, hi lo just anything, al use your feet , you may find that sweet spot for the open switch. If you do not hit it you will have to take a test light and just start at the key switch and work down the circuit.
