It held off here long enough to bale that last 25 acres of hay. I was sprinkling the last pass across the field then cut loose as soon as I was done. Had a casualty. I had to rake with the 1850 because I'm still waiting for the clutch for the 1550. I made three rounds and clubbed a woodchuck hole hard and the tractor started whining and growling and I lost the steering and hydraulics. I just put a PTO shaft in it a year ago and a pump two months ago,so I have a good hunch I lost a cotter pin out of the gear that drives the pump and the shaft slid out of the needle bearings when I hit the hole. I had to wrestle the rake off the 3pt without the tractor running and put it on the 1365,but it's done. Now I can spend the day tomorrow taking the top off the transmission and rear end to see for sure what happened.
