To add to this. After you install the sleeves do not turn the motor over even by hand without having the head on or using a big washer with a piece of pipe down over the stud to hold the sleeves in place. The slightest movement without the sleeves clamped in place will move the sleeves and orings and possibly tearing them or rolling them off. The Ferguson shop manual says to lube the orings with Vaseline when installing the sleeves.
