Yes, Google is a good source of information, probably about 90% of it is good. But you do have to use some discretion.
There is no filter for "bad" information. It picks up on key words, and if someone posted something totally in error, or an opinion (just like I'm doing now! LOL) it doesn't know the difference!
One of my pet peeves is the "How to..." articles. Not sure where those come from, and about 90% are correct, but some are just plain wrong! Or they are so vague they leave you with "Huhhh?" Like "How to remove a tractor engine?" Answer "Remove bolts, remove engine." LOL
