Old farmer wanted a station wagon, went to the dealer, only one on the lot was a woodie with fake wood-grain on the side. He didn't like it much, but bought it anyhow. Got home, went out to the shop, and had just finished taking it off when his wife came out. He said, "Well, I dunno- now I'm thinkin' maybe it looked better when it was still in the crate."
As far as the truck above, seems like a lot of work just to make a rig look cheesy.
