In my part of northwest Iowa, about 50 miles south of Minnesota we had a little nip on the top leaves of the maturing crop but the replant beans in the low spots were hurt very little. The beans that were turning were hurried along on top but the lower leaves are still green or yellow, depending on what stage of maturity they are in. The top leaves of the corn are browned but down in the row there is very little damage. This afternoon i drove by a field of tall corn with a few weeds that were sticking above the corn and the weeds, were wilted above the tassles but weren't hurt below the tassles .
