My story is just the oposite. My friends cousin wanted to drive Lee"s new car. So Lee let me drive. Going down a steep hill he had it doing 90 when we saw the cop. Dad was a State Patrol dispatcher and had worked the night shift. My Dad told me at breakfast the next day about it. And I replied, "I know, I was in the backseat."
My Dad sent me home to get the truck. I had never using anything but first gear before. So I shifted to second as I headed down the driveway. When I got to the road I forgot about slowing down and went acrossed the neighbors yard and then moved over onto his driveway. As Dad was heading back out of the neighbors driveway he saw the tracks and asked if that was me. Of course I said Yes.
