Just be sure to have a shop that actually uses the shop manual when it's time to install new spark plugs. Ford gets a bad reputation for spark plugs blowing out of the aluminum cylinder heads but it almost always boils down to a plug replacement by a jackleg mechanic that thought torque specs were not important.
All modern LD trucks are known for snapped exhaust studs because of the different cooling rates of manifolds and cylinder heads. The Ford is no worse than the other big two brands, but their wide "V" engine makes the replacement of the studs a real bear which means most of them have exhaust leaks at the manifold/cylinder head.
