Where did you see the half a gigabyte usage? On your Jetpack's logs or from Verizon? In most cases, the usage reported on the service provider's site is delayed, so it's not surprising if it reported usage when you were offline. As I said before, you need to log into your router (the Jetpack) and look at its logs. That will tell you the actual 4G usage and which hosts are connected to it. It may even tell you the usage per host. Get your facts in order before you go make a scene at the store.
