I am usually not a good weather guesser. I do know the old adage "if it rains before seven it's over by eleven" is true here in my part of northwest Iowa. If I see rain in Nebraska on the radar at breakfast time it's a pretty good bet that rain won't make it to my farm. However, during the day I can't guess what's coming up weather wise.
In defense of the weather service, any more they are pretty good at predicting the weather several days in advance, at least here in NWIA. Jim
