I spent the day helping a friend get caught up on some sawing today. He lost his helper of 15 yrs a couple of months ago right at the mill due to a heart attack. I don't know how that old man and him could get so much done in a day . I'm beat but we had 3 of us there so we made good time today sawing 20 logs up for dimensional,slab,misc and fire wood. We have him caught up for now but he will back up quickly with me hauling 2 20 log loads in 1-2 weeks. He's a great guy and wouldn't let me leave hungry or with a empty trailer. He loaded a 5x12x3 tall tandem trailer up to the sky and said bring it back and we will fill it again of fire wood.
