yea, i dont want to blow the screen clean off it. haha. ive got a 125psi constant compressor that would def do some damage if something let loose. we had a 2in for years n it was pretty touble free for 20 years. it eventually got a pin hole n wouldnt prime anymore. which was why i was thinking bout the 1in pvc down inside it n draw it like a straw. ive seen 4-5in plastic well one time, that couldnt afford the submersable pump, and he ran 1in black plastic down it n used a common jet pump, like a swimming pool uses,, worked for years!
