I raised my first Jersey last year, and it was the BEST meat I have ever raised . He was 18 months when butchered, still a bull, and only had minimal corn, mostly grass and hay. I was a little hesitant about him beforehand, but is it ever great tasting meat ! Gonna have sirloins on the grill tonight in fact.
