I bought 4 lengths of old bailer belting. I connected 2 of them together making a heck of a long thresher belt. I run it off the buzz saw, and I find that the long length helps somehow. It dosent slap as much, and seems to absorb a pinch in the log being cut better than a short belt. I have another that I just put together end to end, but it turned out to be too short for my buzz saw setup. BUT its dang handy when I want to start, or tune up another tractor, belting 2 tractors together. Lots better than trying to work on them while pulling them.
