If you have an android I highly recommend that you store your contacts on google contacts. Android will automagically synchronize to google contacts so once you set it up you never have to think of it again, and if you lose your phone or simply get a new one, your contacts come right back. You can do the same for you photos at google photos - and the service is free. The level of storage is not unlimited, but I have over 500 photos stored and am not out of space yet.
