I have a 1985 wheel horse lawn mower. The bearings went out on the v pulley and belt was cracked all most broken. This is on the mower deck drive belt. It has 3 blades and sharp as h---. So I put a new pulley and a new belt on it I tightened the belt up as tightened it as I could by hand, I cut grass for one day and the belt flipped up side down in the v pulley, So I flipped the belt back where it belonged in the v pulley, and again I tightened it as tight as I could by hand. Two hours later the same thing, what am I doing wrong. The v pulley is next to the engine and the flat pulley is next to the pulley housing then the nut.
