We will be building a country home in the next 12 months. It will be approximately 3,000 square feet. I am currently looking into heating. What would the forum recommend? Would like to install geothermal, anyone have a real world cost figure for a closed loop system? I don't want to waste a salesman's time or mine if they are stupid expensive. I have also thought about installing a wood burner. Thoughts, opinions, and snide remarks welcome.
