I've thought the same thing many times myself, but then thought further.
Remember, in America we all have the right to peacefully assemble, and speak our minds, regardless of whether what we think is right or not, and that's what is supposed to be happening. Unfortunately, just like every other time this particular group of folks gather in mass, there are always the few in the bunch who want to make their statements with violence rather than words.
Killing those that are stuck in the middle of it because of their own right to assemble, and speak peacefully really isn't the way. All that would happen would be to create more 'martyrs for the cause' than just the one kid they are already rioting over, and gather even more troublemakers to the sceen from even further away..... Probably not a good idea.....
