A buddy and I bought a '37 Dodge for $15 from his uncle. It resembled that truck, even the same color scheme. It ran real good, but there was no bed on it. Flathead six and a three speed floor shift. No title, so we taped a rent receipt in the front window to make it look like we had applied for license plates. We drove it around for about a month, and got nervous because the local cop was asking why we hadn't gotten the plates in the mail. I remember that the windshield was hinged on the top, and there was a crank that would open it up at the bottom to let the air flow through. Ah, the good old days!!!
