It is my understanding that here in MA - You are supposed to list all your equipment that you will be using the plate with on your original application. That being said, It seems as though no one checks around here.
I can't justify the cost, so I only reg. my larger tractor with comm. plates and If needed I haul the smaller ones on the trailer.
