There is a big difference between ambition and desperation. Addicts act in desperation. True, some of their actions may seem ambitious, but generally they are desperate for money for a fix. Last spring two men broke into a church, or actually underneath the church,and were stealing copper wire and pipe. Without thinking to trace the line, they cut into the copper line from the propane tank to the furnace. There was a brief flash but no fire resulted and neither was seriously hurt, although one had to be treated at the hospital, and that's how they were caught. And yes, the Lord must have been looking out for his house.
