nice bear
300 or so
Like Gary said, big ones have a rounder head.
And 400 plus ones, your first impression is.....FAT, big belly
Looks pretty relaxed around human surroundings.
I'd spend some time running him off.
They can be a real nuisance, and do a lot of damage.
Grills on your porch, etc.
And if they get a whiff of the grease in your inside stove vent, you'll have a visitor.
Locked doors and windows won't slow em down much.
In hunting cabins with secure doors they just claw thru the wall next to it.
Air horns, pots and pans, motion detectors hooked to a boom box at full volume.
Most times you can run them off, sometimes a big old male will decide YOU should leave, so be prepared to respond....accordingly.
Edit, I'd like to add that with most critters, if they ain't in season or you are the tree-hugger type. You usually don't have to hurt them. You just make your area unpleasant. Loud noises, things that startle them. They won't like it and will avoid the area.
